Salmon Fillet with Ginger Sauce Recipes


Serves 2

  • 15 g/1/2 oz butter

  • 2 x 155 g/5 oz salmon fillet or ocean trout cutlets

  • 1 tablespoon finely sliced fresh ginger

  • 2 tablespoons orange juice

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • Thin strips lime rind

  1. Melt butter in a frying pan and cook salmon fillet for 3 minutes each side or until cooked. Remove salmon fillet from pan and set aside to keep warm.

  2. Add ginger, orange juice, lime juice and sugar to pan and cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until sauce reduces and thickens slightly. Stir in lime rind. Serve sauce spooned over salmon fillet.
