Steamed Salmon Pasta Dinner Recipes

The delicious sauce for this dish is prepared in seconds.

Serves 4


  • 450 g/1 lb salmon fillet, skinned

  • 225 g/8 oz/3 cups pasta, such as penne or twists

  • 175 g/6 oz cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 150 ml/1/4 pint/2/3 cup creme fraiche

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp finely chopped parsley

  • Finely grated rind of 1/2 orange

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  1. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-size pieces, arrange on a heatproof plate and cover with foil.

  2. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the pasta and return to the boil. Place the plate of salmon on top and simmer for 10-12 minutes, until the pasta and salmon fillet are cooked.

  3. Drain the pasta and toss with the tomatoes and salmon fillet in a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix together the creme fraiche, parsley, orange rind and pepper to taste, then toss into the pasta. Serve hot or cold.
