Tea Sandwiches with Smoked Salmon and Cucumber


Serve: 6



  • 6 ounces sliced smoked salmon

  • 2 ounces salmon caviar

  • 1/2 European cucumber, cut it into 24 thin slices

  • 6 thin slices white sandwich bread

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 6 fresh dill sprigs


  1. Lay the bread slices on a cutting board.

  2. Spread the bread with the butter.

  3. Arrange the salmon slices to cover the buttered side of each slice completely.

  4. Trim off the crusts and overhanging salmon to create clean edges.

  5. Cut each square into 4 triangles.

  6. Top each triangle with a cucumber slice.

  7. Place a dollop of salmon caviar in the center of each cucumber slice.

  8. Garnish with a dill sprig.
