Smoked Salmon with Cucumber Dipping Sauce

Serve: 6


  • 18 slices of smoked salmon

  • 1 large cucumber

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 fresh and finely chopped mint sprigs

  • 1 bunch fresh and finely chopped dill

  • 1 large fresh dill sprig

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Freshly ground pepper

  • Kosher salt


  1. Peeled the skin of the cucumber, cut it into half lengthwise.

  2. Remove the seeds within the cucumber.

  3. Shred the cucumber with food processor.

  4. Sprinkle some salt on the shredded cucumber in a bowl and let it sit for 30 minutes.

  5. Rinse the cucumber with cold water and dry the cucumber with paper towel.

  6. Mix the cucumber with yogurt, mint sprigs, dill, garlic and lemon juice.

  7. Taste and add the salt and pepper accordingly.

  8. Cover the mixture and let it sits for half an hour.

  9. Weave the salmon slices with bamboo skewer and serve together with the dipping sauce prepared.
